Assistant...Party Planner?

I get all kinds of people calling up to ask about birthday parties for their kids, but this is a first.

Early last week, I got a call from a woman's executive assistant, asking questions about parties. The woman has a daughter turning 4, and so far, all of the planning has been donw by the executive assistants. She's ordered the cake, addressed and mailed the invitations, booked out studio. I don't even know how to reach the kid's mother--all I've been given is contact information for the assistant.

I understand being busy and delegating tasks, but isn't planning a child's party something that their parents should do themselves? It really, really makes me sad.

Certain Toy store Employee (not me actually): Great! what kind of games are they playing now?
Customer: I don't know. The Nanny plays with them.
