The Pampered Chef party.

It makes me a little sad that the most exciting thing I have to talk about is the Pampered Chef party that we had last night, but I figure that I've been sick, so I have an excuse.

Jason's brother has started selling the stuff, and we promised him ages ago that we'd host a party for him. I fully expected for half a dozen people to show up, and for one to buy a pizza stone and a few to buy a ten dollar gadget, so I was pretty impressed with the actual total at the end of the night.

I think what was even more surreal was the fact that people seemed in to the party, which made me feel a little old. Seriously, I gpt way to excited about a cheese grater. Liz came up with the grand idea of each buying a stoneware dish and circulating them, which led to a conversation about friendship bread and how it always seems like a better idea then it is. Someone pointed out that, among the high tech cooking gadgets was a flyswatter that came with a dustbin and tweezers. I'm not sure yet how I feel about that.

Tonight, Jason and I get to do our own shopping and figure out how to spend the free money and half price rewards and all that good stuff. And then, we het to figure out where the hell to put anything else in our kitchen cabinets.
